Karl Wood

Chief Executive Officer

With over two decades of experience in technology and risk management, Karl has expertly navigated the complexities of both large corporations and small enterprises. His impressive track record includes serving in FTSE100, FTSE250, and Fortune500 companies. Karl is also a successful entrepreneur, having founded multi-award winning businesses in technology, cyber security, regulatory compliance, and mental health, operating across five continents.

Jack Harris

Chief Information Officer

Having joined the company 13 years ago as a 17-year-old apprentice, Jack brings a wealth of experience in supporting SME clients. His professional journey includes completing his apprenticeship and earning CompTIA and Microsoft certifications across various disciplines. As the essential bridge between strategy and execution, Jack ensures seamless operations, client satisfaction, and team cohesion.

Thomas Crow

Chief Technology Officer

With over seven years of experience, Tom excels in project delivery, having successfully led and executed projects for FTSE100 firms and the Ministry of Defence (MOD). His expertise showcases his ability to manage high-stakes initiatives. Tom’s strong background in compliance and cybersecurity leadership enables him to drive compliance standards and ensure clients meet regulatory requirements.

Jack Powell

IT Support Specialist

Jack spearheads our helpdesk, serving as the front-line IT support and the initial point of contact for our valued clients. He is responsible for quickly and effectively handling support queries, and escalating more serious issues, particularly cyber-related incidents, to the rest of the team. With extensive experience in supporting SME clients, and CompTIA and Microsoft training, Jack ensures our clients receive top-notch service and solutions.

Elaine Fish

Accounts Department

Elaine oversees our financial transactions, ensuring seamless operations. She handles purchase invoices from suppliers and ensures timely payments. Additionally, she manages sales invoices issued to our clients and provides credit control services to maintain healthy cash flow. With 13 years experience as a Practice Manager at a solicitors’ firm, Elaine brings expertise in running, maintaining, and managing multiple offices, contributing significantly to the smooth running of our internal operations.

Laura Smith

Business Administrator

Laura brings extensive background in small business accounting to our team. In her role, she oversees budgeting, financial planning, and human resources. Additionally, Laura contributes to our marketing efforts and provides general business administrative support to the entire team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Service Desk

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Service Desk Team Member to join our Service Desk. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
Provide 1st line technical support and IT administrative support to end users. Deliver onsite technical assistance as needed. Handle tasks such as password resets, user account administration, hardware and software troubleshooting, connectivity issues, printer troubleshooting, software repair and reinstallation, software updates, email troubleshooting, and support for Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, and Microsoft and Apple operating systems.

Certifications:
CompTIA A+
CompTIA Network+
Infrastructure Technician Level 3

Experience:
Minimum 2 years in an IT support role.

Simtech are proud to support Dean Forest Kitchens whose friendly team provide warm meals to those who need it. Freshly prepared and delivered directly to the table of those they support.

Ukrainian Fighters

Simtech raised funds to procure essential battlefield medical supplies, notably NATO standard first aid kits and combat tourniquets, vital tools for treating injuries sustained in conflict zones. Our contacts orchestrated safe and efficient transportation, bypassing obstacles posed by the ongoing conflict.

On arrival in the Ukraine, Simtech’s medical supplies were distributed directly to units on the front line.

Their identities have been hidden for safety reasons.
