Opportunity centre selects Simtech as their lead technology vendor

GLOUCESTERSHIRE, England, July 2022 – Simtech, Herefordshire’s leading technology infrastructure provider, has announced a renewed collaboration with The Forest of Dean Children’s Opportunity Centre to improve operational efficiency through a more flexible infrastructure and to prepare them to achieve Cyber Essentials Certification.

Building on a 2-year relationship, The Forest of Dean Children’s Opportunity Centre who have their Headquarters in Coleford, Gloucestershire, agreed with Simtech to be their lead IT vendor and to continue supporting The Forest of Dean Children’s Opportunity Centre in transforming its IT infrastructure with industry leading expertise and technologies.

As part of the agreement, Simtech will prepare The Forest of Dean Children’s Opportunity Centre to migrate its on premise technology over to a Cloud solution comprising of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS), and implementation of further Cloud technologies to advance the organisations digital transformation. Simtech will provide a series of software upgrades and advanced technological controls to improve efficiencies and overall Cyber resilience.

The announcement builds on a previous relationship and the collaboration is part of Simtech’s ongoing commitment to support The Forest of Dean Children’s Opportunity Centre in meetings its long term vision for the future.
