What size of business does Simtech support?
Our managed IT service is designed primarily for organisations with approximately 10–75 employees.
We may also support smaller organisations where the service and commercial fit are appropriate. Co-managed and strategic services are available for larger organisations.
What does managed IT support include?
Our service includes unlimited remote and telephone support, Microsoft 365 administration, device monitoring, patch management, antivirus, endpoint detection and response, Microsoft 365 SaaS backup, starter and leaver administration, network support, supplier liaison and regular IT and cybersecurity planning.
Are Microsoft 365 licences included?
No. Microsoft 365 subscriptions are selected according to each user’s requirements and invoiced separately.
This means you only pay for the licences your organisation needs and allows pricing to remain transparent if Microsoft changes its charges.
Is on-site support included?
On-site support is included in Managed IT Complete when Simtech determines that a covered incident cannot reasonably be resolved remotely and the customer is within the agreed service area.
On-site attendance is separately chargeable under the standard Managed IT plan.
Projects, equipment deployment, office moves and planned installations are charged separately under both plans.
Where does Simtech provide support?
Remote managed IT support is available across England and Wales.
On-site services are primarily available across Herefordshire and surrounding areas, including parts of Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Shropshire, the West Midlands and South Wales.
We also support selected international organisations through our remote service model.
How quickly will Simtech respond?
Managed-service customers receive a four-business-hour initial-response target.
Our actual average response during the latest reporting period was under one hour.
Will our employees speak directly with Simtech?
Yes. Support is delivered by Simtech’s own technical team and is not outsourced to an external helpdesk.
Can you help us change from another IT provider?
Yes. Simtech manages the onboarding and handover process, including access collection, technical discovery, documentation and deployment of our management and security tools.
How much does managed IT support cost?
Plans begin from £85 per supported user per month, subject to a minimum monthly service charge.
Exact pricing depends on the number of users, devices, sites and required service level.
Is there a setup fee?
Yes. Onboarding is charged separately and is normally based on the equivalent of one month’s managed-service fee.
Additional remediation or migration work is quoted separately where required.
